The Spring Carnival was a winning time for families at Halverson Elementary School on May 16. Hundreds of students and their families enjoyed an affordable night together in a safe place, thanks to the following donors: Diana’s Diner, Raleigh’s Ace Hardware. Security Bank, State Farm Insurance – Nancy VanderWaerdt, Security Insurance/Larry Petersen, Innovance, Christian and Peterson, United Employees Credit Union, Crossroads Trailer, State Farm Insurance – Dave Klatt, Jim and Dude’s, Red Carpet Car Wash, Arrow Printing, Joy Meyer, Golden Kiwanis 1, Flaherty Auto, Moose Club, Wal-Mart Supercenter, and Brooks Safety.

 Halverson SPIRIT thanks all these donors, along with the many students, parents and teachers who donated time and/or money. SPIRIT is especially proud of the fifth- and sixth-grade students, and their older siblings, who worked during the carnival, running games and supervising inflatables, so the younger kids could have a good time.
