Thanks for returning purse in shopping cart

The only way I can thank this super nice gentleman is through the Tribune. It is because he retrieved my purse from a Wal-Mart shopping cart where I unintentionally left it. Last Sunday forenoon after church I made some purchases at Wal-Mart paying for them by check. I put them in the trunk of my car and headed home. Upon returning home, I removed the purchases and then discovered my purse was missing. What a feeling that is!

I went back to Wal-Mart immediately almost certain what answer I would receive. The saleslady who checks out the leaving cars told me a man had returned a black purse to her, when I asked if one had been found. I just couldn’t believe it when I went to the courtesy counter and recognized my very own purse. How happy I was!

I asked if he had left his name. “No,” she said. There was not one single coin in my purse, nothing to gain by finding it. He could have stashed it but he didn’t. All my three medical cards were in it, my bank book, my driver’s license, some pills, my appointment book an address book, pictures, my glasses, keys and lots more. Valuable things to me that would take lots of time to replace. Oh, how very very grateful I am to him. Thank you, kind sir!

Coverage of Lake Mills baseball is excellent

Thank you very much for covering Lake Mills Bulldogs baseball! The Tribune is doing a better job than the local newspaper! I keep in touch with the scores and articles through the Tribune on a regular basis.

Thanks again!
