Albert Lea Lake and other waters in Freeborn County are high after heavy rains Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. Though they aren’t as high as what Mower County and Cerro Gordo County, they are higher than usual. As Myre-Big Island State Park, water on Albert Lea Lake at times rises high enough to cover the causeway from Big Island to Little Island, but the causeway remains dry.
