I was born and raised in Albert Lea. What a wonderful place to call home. I left in 1958 after graduation, but will be returning in September to attend my class of 1958’s 50th reunion. I can’t wait to see my friends and my hometown once more.

I am writing about the picture that was in the Albert Lea Tribune with the article titled “Welcome home!” Upon opening my paper Saturday, the San Diego Union-Tribune, there was the same picture. I don’t see Albert Lea mentioned too often, so what a surprise this was. Congratulations to your wonderful photographer.
