The sixth annual Freeborn County Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party Picnic is this Saturday.

There will be guest speakers and the meal will be bratwursts, hot dogs, beans, chips, coffee and punch. People are encouraged to bring bars. The picnic runs from 4 to 7 p.m. at the main pavillion at Edgewater Park in Albert Lea. The cost is $6 per person or $15 per family.

The Freeborn County DFL Party’s regular meetings are at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month at the Union Center on Minnesota Highway 13.
