We want to sincerely thank all of those who supported the Albert Lea Hockey Association fireworks fundraiser in the Nelson’s Market Place parking lot. Our goal was to support a special fall program as well as work to keep fees for Albert Lea hockey among the lowest in our state. Many hockey parents spent a great deal of time volunteering to set up, organize and work at our fireworks tent. We sincerely appreciate everyone who supported us with time and with purchases from our tent!

Unfortunately, our trailer was burglarized in Nelson’s parking lot, taking 10 cases of fireworks and one case of banners, compromising our fundraising efforts. How sad that a few amoral, dishonest people put such a damper on all of our efforts. May those responsible be left with duds!
