A 15-year-old boy is listed in critical condition after an accidental shooting at a rural Bricelyn home Tuesday afternoon.

A report from the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office in Blue Earth said the incident took place about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at 9135 560th Ave., Bricelyn. As a result of the shooting, the juvenile male was airlifted from the scene to Rochester where he is listed in critical condition.

A report from the sheriff’s office said Daniel Stallkamp, age 19, of Bricelyn was at the residence at the time of the incident.

The Faribault County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating this incident. Also assisting at the scene was the Bricelyn Ambulance.
