The Albert Lea Thunder is planning to announce its new head coach Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the City Arena.

After Paul Willett resigned as head coach July 11, Albert Lea needed to make a decision quickly with its main camp beginning Wednesday.

Willett cited “philosophical differences” between himself and owner Barry Soskin. Willett spent less than three months as head coach.
