Woman bitten while checking meters

A representative from the emergency room at Albert Lea Medical Center called the Law Enforcement Center at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday saying that a 20-year-old woman was reportedly bit by a dog while reading meters for Alliant Energy.
House broken into
Dispatchers at the Law Enforcement Center received a call at 10:41 p.m. Wednesday about a possible house break-in on the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue. According to police reports, authorities did find that the screen on the door was cut and noticed there was also some foot patrol in the area, according to police reports.
Woman arrested for DWI
Police arrested Sharene Ann Wasmund, 46, for DWI charges at 1:32 a.m. today after a traffic crash at 1005 S. Newton Ave., police reports stated. There were no injuries received from the crash.
Juvenile cited
for consumption
One juvenile was cited for minor consumption at 2:21 a.m. today on the 800 block of Water Street after police received an anonymous call about underage drinking going on at the residence, according to reports. The caller stated there were several people involved.
