An Albert Lea man is listed in good condition Friday afternoon following a crash early that morning.

Charles Allan Neve, 53, was taken to Mayo Clinic in Rochester after a crash involving his 1996 Chevrolet pickup and a semi at 3:40 a.m. on Interstate 90 west of Alden near the Faribault-Freeborn County line, at mile marker 143.

A Minnesota State Patrol report states the pickup was eastbound in the westbound lane of I-90. A westbound semi tractor (2009 Freightliner model) tried to avoid the collision by reportedly steering toward the ditch, but was unable to avoid the collision.
