All Minnesotans need to help clean waters

In November we will be asked to support a clean water bill. Currently, 1,475 lakes are impaired, and the list is growing. We need all Minnesotans to do their part to help clean up our waters by asking their politicians to support strong enforcement laws so that the DNR, the MPCA and county soil and water organizations can work on this problem. Minnesota used to be the land of l0,000 sparkling lakes and sky blue waters. We are becoming the land of toxic green algae and curly leaf sludge. Write your politicians and tell them to support strong enforcement so that our state agencies can do the job we hired them for.
