The Freeborn 4-H Club met for their monthly meeting on June 22 at the Al and Barb Hunnicutt Farm. There were 13 members and eight parents present. President Genna Anderson called the meeting to order. Roll call was taken by answering what your favorite 4-H project is. A thank you was received from the Alden Area Food Shelf for the club’s donation.
A Cloverbud activitiy was held on June 14. No Cloverbuds attended, but Matthew Hunnicutt was there to help out as an ambassador. He also talked about attending YELLO. Genna Anderson talked about being a 4-H camp counselor.
The club had a window display in place for June Dairy Days. Project enrollment sheets were turned in.
Sign-up sheets were handed out for working at the Clover Food Stand and the Livestock Breeder Food Stand during the fair.
The next meeting will be in September. This will be our club tour to see how each one did at the fair and to share the judge’s comments. The tour will start at Sandy Andersen’s.
