The wind no doubt affected tennis players Tuesday as the ball took some funny bounces durin a 4-3 Albert Lea loss to Mankato East.

Kelli Hanson won her match at No. 1 singles 7-5, 7-5 and her win gave the No. 1 doubles team a chance to win the match. That didn’t happen as E.J. Scharmer and Allison Canella came from behind to defeat Sarah Wenum and Erika Blickenderfer 7-5, 2-6, 3-6.
