Because the daylight hours are changing, the Albert Lea Transfer Station will be changing its hours to match. In October and November the new hours will be:

Noon to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays

18 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays

In December the hours will be:

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays

8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

The Transfer Station will be closed for holidays on Nov. 11, Nov. 27 and then on Jan. 1, 2009.
