Becker Hi-Way Frate was presented a silver award by Great West Casualty Company as part of the 2007 National Safety Awards Program.

These drivers received personal awards as recipients of the safety program: Kenneth Haukoos, 10-year plaque/safety achievement award; Joseph Becker Sr., 56-year safety achievement award; Thomas Becker, 35-year safety achievement award; and Joseph Becker, 34-year safety achievement award.

The awards represent approximately 15 million miles of sharing the roads safely with other drivers.

The National Safety Awards program recognizes carriers in similar operations (truckload and less than truckload) with awards based on their year-end preventable accident results. Carriers are eligible to receive a platinum, gold, silver or participatory award. This past year, the program drew over 625 participants from across the country.
