With your allowing your staff to print the cartoon on Page 4 of the Thursday, Sept. 4, edition of the Albert Lea Tribune, you have allowed your paper to sink to a new low.

One wonders what the purpose of this crude, gutter-type cartoon was. Was it an attempt to be humorous? If so it missed its mark. Or more likely it was meant to demean two really great Americans willing to put up with the hassle of running for the presidency. In either case you are running the reputation of a once-great paper into the ground.
