A cable TV show on Saturday will feature a woman in Colorado who grew up in Albert Lea.

Gabrielle Johnson, 32, lives in Commerce City, Colo., and is the daughter of Craig and Theresa Knudtson of Albert Lea. She will appear on the HGTV show “Carter Can” at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. HGTV is Channel 40 on the cable TV system in Albert Lea.

The show features a room makeover for a friend of hers. The friend’s husband was in Iraq at the time of the makeover. It was a surprise for him when he returned home.

Johnson lives with her husband, Jamie, and children Alax, Kali and Paige. She performs child care in her home. He is an airline pilot. She and her husband enjoy carpentry as a hobby and are considering flipping a house in 30 days.
