In the Commissioner District 5 race, all the votes are in. Linda Tuttle and Mike Lee will face each other Nov. 5 for the seat. Lee defeated Tony Pestorious by 4 votes. In District 3, it will be challenger David Shoff and incumbent Jim Nelson.

Incumbent Albert Lea Mayor and challenger Mike Murtaugh will move on in the primary election tonight. Erdman received slightly more votes than Murtaugh, but the top two candidates go on and will square off in the Nov. 4 election.

Incumbent DFL state Rep. Robin Brown defeated challenger William Wagner. She goes on to face Republican Erik Larsen.

In Congressional District 1, Mayo Clinic physician Brian Davis defeated Owatonna state Sen. Dick Day. The AP reports the following returns:

749 of 749 precincts – 100 percent

Dick Day 8,400 – 33 percent
