Insurance & Financial Advisors offer educational opportunity

The Albert Lea-Austin Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors is sponsoring a seven continuing education credit day, Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the Ramada Inn, 2306 E. Main St., Albert Lea.

Registration is at 8 a.m. Classes begin at 8:30 a.m. with Scott Gunderson, regional vice president of Hancock Annuities, “Variable Annuity Suitability.” The 9:30 -10:30 class, “There’s Something About 60” will also be presented by Gunderson. The 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. two-hour section on “Consumer Driven Health Care” and “ Educating the Employer and Employee” will be presented by Robert Hoeg.

Afternoon sessions begin at 1 p.m. with Laurence R. Menzel, ChFC, CRC, PPC, presenting “Your Future in the Retirement Market.” From 2 to 3 p.m. Mary Trondson, State Farm agent, will present “Improve Your Bottom Line With Life Products.”

The final two-hour class,” Consulting for Medicare,” will be presented by Robert Hoeg.

Costs: Members and support staff, $50 for four hours, no lunch; $80 for all seven credits, including lunch. Non-members $60 for four hours, no lunch or $90 for all seven credits, including lunch.
