Ten vehicles were tagged early Saturday morning for illegal parking in the city’s central business district by the Albert Lea Police Department.

The department’s report stressed that this part of the city is posted as no parking from 2 to 6 a.m.

Steering problems reported

A report of a weaving vehicle near Garfield Avenue and Ramsey Street resulted in a stop by Albert Lea police at 1:08 a.m. Saturday. The driver was field tested for alcohol and the result was .00. The driver told the officer there were “front-end problems” with the vehicle.
