Robert and Betty Peoble of Peoble Photography in Albert Lea recently returned from Cozumel, Mexico, where Robert Peoble went through training for digital underwater photography specialist certification from the Professional Association of Diving Instructors.
During the two-week training, Peoble was able to complete his rescue diver certification, emergency first response diver certification, emergency oxygen provider certification, divemaster certification along with digital underwater photography specialist certifications.
Two times a year, the Peobles take dive groups to Mexico for a week of relaxation, scuba diving and underwater photography.
Their son, David Peoble, also completed the divemaster certification course and emergency oxygen provider certification.
Both Robert and David Peoble have been scuba diving for 25 years and are starting on their training for scuba instructor certifications and hope to be able to teach scuba diving in the local area. Currently with their divemaster certifications they are able to do scuba reviews for already certified scuba divers that have not done any diving for several years or certified divers that just want to be checked out on proficiency.
Their next dive trip is planned for March 2009 and Robert Peoble is hoping to complete his master scuba diver certification. Robert and Betty’s grandson, Brandon Peoble, who is 11 years old also completed his certification as a junior diver during the training. Peoble is a member of Professional Association of Diving Instructors and Divers Alert Network.
