I’ve thought of writing to your paper for years and always seem to forget. But I’m finally letting your staff know what a wonderful job they do of covering our schools sports program. We can always count on Albert Lea to treat our kids as equals in the stories instead of a byline like the Mason City Globe Gazette seems to do more often than not. The photos are always awesome and the articles are detailed and great to read. We appreciate your including us in your coverage and I’ve heard many parents say they will get the Tribune because they give us such good coverage. It means a lot to our players and we thank you for including us in your local sports. Thank you all for the fine efforts on our behalfs over the years. Please keep up the great work.
