Lake Mills football player Tyler Olson and his rehab from a spinal cord injury have been hampered the past two days as he’s dealing with shoulder pain.
Olson, who broke his neck while trying to make a tackle in a football game, has seen his right arm get stronger and has better wrist control and movement, according the his website on caringbridge.org
The pain in the shoulder may be a good sign as it may signify the nerves and muscles repairing themselves.
The Lake Mills High School had “T.O. Day” Wednesday as part of its homecoming festivities.
Olson also received an autographed Adrian Peterson jersey on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs have their homecoming game Friday and play Belmond-Klemme at 7:30 p.m.
There is also a Tyler Olson run/walk benefit scheduled for Nov. 1 at the Lake Mills Fjelstad Athletic Complex. The event begins at 9 a.m.
