Two-hundred-fifteen classmates, guests and faculty from the Albert Lea High School Class of 1958 celebrated the 50th anniversary of their graduation with a three-day extravaganza Sept. 12-14.

Headquarters for the reunion was the Ramada Albert Lea. Reunion events included a mixer with appetizers at the Freeborn Country History Museum, a tour of the new Albert Lea High School, a Chorus/sing along, the Dedication of our class Legacy Project — the brick sign for Albert Lea High School that we funded and built, a boat ride and lunch narrated by Al Batt on the new Pelican Breeze boat on Albert Lea Lake, Golf at Green Lea Golf Course, a social hour and dinner buffet at the Ramada Albert Lea, a walk on the Blazing Star Trail, and a farewell breakfast at the Albert Lea Inn.
