Downtown businesses are broken into, money missing

Reinertson’s Embroidery and Albert Lea Tailors both reported cash missing from their cash registers on Thursday morning, according to police reports. Reports indicated the doors of both businesses had been pried open sometime after 6 p.m. Wednesday. Less than $100 was taken from each business.

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, along with the South Central Drug Task Force, made a first-degree methamphetamine arrest of Adonis Aldolph Dorman at 10:21 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Court Street and Euclid Avenue. Dorman is in custody and is awaiting charges today, according to reports.

Woman cited for drug paraphernalia

Police cited Tiffany Walters, 20, with drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 11:48 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of South Broadway Avenue and Seventh Street, police reports stated.

Police arrested Joshua James Herplinck for fourth-degree DWI after a traffic stop at 2:29 a.m. today near the intersection of East Main Street and Morningside Road, according to reports.
