John Branstad knows his stuff

When my son John told me that he was thinking about running for a seat in the Minnesota House of Representatives, I asked him why. Through his experience helping a small business to grow from six to over 40 employees, he knew the success that comes from people sitting down and working together to solve problems. He told me he wanted to use that approach to find solutions to issues like affordable health coverage, education funding and improved roads and bridges here in southern Minnesota. That was the kind of answer this mom needed to hear: John is motivated to serve people and knows that working together will result in positive changes.

As his mom, I’m a little biased, but during this campaign I have seen his strengths from a different point of view. I am convinced that John will be a well-informed state representative who will work for real progress on the issues important to the people in the Albert Lea area, in and around communities like Kiester and Wells. How can I be so sure?

John knows how to bring people together to work for a common goal. He is intelligent, communicates clearly and operates with integrity. He will talk with you and listen to you respectfully, even if you have a different opinion. John is a problem-solver who focuses on results. You can depend on his commitment to stay informed about the issues affecting your lives and you can count on his strong work ethic and persistence to get things done.
