One of the largest festivals in the state of Minnesota is in Albert Lea. The annual Big Island Rendezvous was held this past weekend. Education Days were Thursday and Friday with more than 4,000 students from around the state of Minnesota scheduled to attend.
The Rendezvous is not just a celebration, but an opportunity for people of all ages to see what life was like more than 150 years ago. Musical stage performances, live demonstrations, adventure, shopping and a huge selection of food will be available for your enjoyment and pleasure.
Albert Lea Community Theatre proudly announces its 44th Season with “Stand by Your Man,” running Oct. 2-11. Performances are held at the Marion Ross Performing Art Center.
The Minnesota Sesquicentennial Celebration presents “A Tale of Two Cities” based on the books “Albert Lea Remembers” and “Austin Remembers” by Joan Claire Graham. This will be Oct. 16-18 at the Marion Ross Performing Art Center.
Northbridge Mall presents its Ornament, Doll, Toy & Collectible Show on Oct. 25.
