The Albert Lea girls’ volleyball team lost its regular season finale 3-0 to John Marshall Tuesday in Rochester.

The Rockets defeated the Tigers 25-9, 25-10, 25-18, but Albert Lea lost starting outside hitter Nichelle Klatt to an ankle injury early into the first game.

The Tigers rebounded eventually in game three and held a lead at point 14 but John Marshall came back for the sweep.

Emily Peterson led Albert Lea with five kills and Kristine Kelly had seven digs. Courtney Schnaith added six digs and had nine serve receives. Caylee Tennis had eight set assists.
