A third counterfeit bill reported

Another counterfeit $100 bill was reported found in the bank deposit of Taco Bell last week, according to police reports. The bill is similar to the other two counterfeit bills passed at two other local businesses earlier this month. Albert Lea Police Chief Dwaine Winkels said the bills are obvious counterfeit bills. He said he imagines there will be a few more coming around in the next few days and weeks.
Man arrested for drunken driving
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Brian Alexander Hamlin, 34, for drunken driving at 12:41 a.m. Monday on Interstate 35 near mile marker 12, according to sheriff’s office reports.
