Experience is key for county board

I am writing to encourage voters in District 5 to vote for Linda Tuttle. I am proud to call her a friend; in fact, she is one of my very best friends. I know that I can count on her for anything at any time day or night.
Here’s a recent example: My husband was involved in a motorcycle crash on Oct. 6 at 5:30 a.m. Even at this early hour of the day, she and her husband took care of removing the motorcycle from the crash site while I was at the emergency room with my husband. Not having to deal with those arrangements meant a lot to me that day. There were also two nice young gentlemen who stopped at the crash, helped my husband get off the road, and stayed with him. I didn’t get their names, so whoever you are, my heartfelt thanks also go out to you.
We all know that it’s important to elect an individual for county commissioner who is experienced with county government (Linda has 34 years worth!), but sometimes it also comes down to the very basics that we should have a person who is kind, caring, sympathetic and supportive, along with being an experienced professional. It is important to me to have this kind of individual representing me and looking out for my interests, and I feel that Linda has these qualities and is willing to work hard for us. It is quite a commitment of time and talent to run for and hold an elected position, and most citizens are not willing to make that sacrifice. Linda has held office in the past and is aware of what a challenge it can be. I know that she would be honored to get your vote on Tuesday and I am honored that she is choosing to work on our behalf.
