Operation Respect kicks off

Published 11:30 am Thursday, November 13, 2008

Community and business leaders are invited to attend a breakfast meeting to introduce them to Operation Respect, a new community program to increase understanding and positive interactions among all people. The continental breakfast is at the Ramada Inn at 7 a.m. Nov. 20. The timing will allow people to get to work by 8 a.m.

The program will include a brief overview of Operation Respect, a short demonstration of respect and lack of respect in the workplace, and a chance to talk with the recently trained Respect Ambassadors about the program and its benefits in the workplace.

Invitations have been mailed, but if you are interested in attending and have not received an invitation, contact Kim Nelson at kcnelson@alchildrenscenter.org or 373-7979 by Nov. 14.
