Albert Lea senior defensive end and offensive tackle Jake Vietze was named all-conference in the Big Nine.

Vietze had 35 tackles, two sacks and one fumble recovery on the season.

Junior running back and safety Luke Grossman also earned all-conference honors. Grossman played on both sides of the ball. He finished the season with 318 yards rushing and scored four touchdowns. He also returned a kickoff for a touchdown. On defense Grossman was tough. He had 46 tackles on the season and was leading the team in tackles when he broke his fibula. He missed the final four games of the season.
