Wealthier people need to accept responsibility

You have no idea how good it feels to see people beginning to voice the facts that I hold dear to me as well. I believe that the tyranny that was the GOP and the radical Christian right is coming to an end to some degree. At least now we have a say, and I can say with all honesty that although people like George Marin absolutely disgust me, it is with great pride that I can say that he has a right to his beliefs in the U.S. whether I agree with him or not! Blood was shed by guys I was in the military with for everyone to have that right, and I don’t give a darn if you are black, white, green or are from Mars, that blood was shed for everyone. It reminds me of another fellow who shed his blood as well, and for everyone!

I am thankful beyond belief that Barack Obama won the election, not because he was my guy but because of what he represented. Let’s see how the people who hate him feel after their prosperity becomes greater. By the way, I am in an industry that tends to make quite a bit of money, and I believe that when you are given a lot, a lot is demanded from you. It comes with great responsibility.

If my taxes go up, oh well. They should. I feel very fortunate to be doing what I do. When I give back, it has nothing to do with earning my way to heaven or being a good person. All that stuff is boloney. It is self-serving. I do it simply because it is the right thing to do. Period!
