Two NRHEG players named to All-State football team

A pair of New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva football players were named Monday to the All-State team.
Senior running back Greg Ramaker was named All-State Honorable Mention for his outstanding season. Ramaker rushed for 1,615 yards and 19 touchdowns for the Panthers. Ramaker had a handful of games where he rushed for more than 200 yards. He introduced himself to the world of prep football loudly with a season-opening performance of 271 yards and five touchdowns.
NRHEG linebacker David Lindell also earned all-state honorable mention. Lindell led the Panthers with 95 tackles and four sacks.
NRHEG finished 8-2 on the season and lost in the section semifinals to Triton. It was the second straight eight win season for the Panthers.
