Somebody help me out there. We are told that global warming is caused by human activity, that dire consequences will ensue unless we do something about it, and that we must start fixing it now before it is too late. That means that we are supposed to have more days like these bitterly cold days we’ve had recently. Could someone tell me how this is a good thing? 

These same people also tell us that we have to cut back on our use of fossil fuels. That means they intend to restrict how much we can use. The result of that will be higher prices to heat our homes. When the higher prices are combined with the colder weather they intend to produce, our heating bills will skyrocket! Could someone tell me how this is a good thing?

It sounds like the only solutions these global warming alarmists offer to us involve restrictions on our freedoms and liberties. Could someone tell me how this is a good thing?
