Northwood-Kensett 52, Riceville 43

Riceville jumped out to a six-point lead Tuesday night in the first quarter against Northwood-Kensett, but the Vikings were able to rally for a strong second quarter to defeat Riceville 52-43 in Riceville.
Northwood-Kensett outscored Riceville 14-4 in the second quarter and got two players in double figures in scoring.
Kate Hartman led the Vikings (5-6, 3-4) with 22 points and Kjirsti Davidson had 14 points as Northwood-Kensett ended a two-game losing streak.
“It was kind of an ugly game, but it was a win,” said Vikings head coach Daryl Love. “The girls played real hard, they were real aggressive.”
