Thanks to Samaritan for returning wallet

Published 8:34 am Friday, January 9, 2009

I am from Arizona, visiting my family. My mom and I went shopping at Wal-Mart on Dec. 27. I left my white, leather wallet outside in a cart. When I realized I didn’t have my wallet, I immediately called Wal-Mart. After I described it to the customer service representative, she told me that an elderly man had brought it to the desk. How thrilled I was to have my wallet back. Everything was in there — my money, passport, credit cards — all was intact!

There is a “god” in Albert Lea. It seems that you don’t often hear about the good things that happen, only the bad. So, a million “thanks” to the good Samaritan who turned it in!

You have a heart of gold. I wish you many blessings in the new year.
