Thursday night’s 79-38 victory for Glenville-Emmons over Cannon Valley Lutheran will likely be etched in the memory of Wolverines’ sophomore forward Josh Wallin for the rest of his life.
Wallin celebrated his birthday Thursday in style as he scored 12 points to help lead Glenville-Emmons to its second win of the season.
Wallin scored all 12 points in about a span of two minutes, Wolverines head coach Dan Fredrickson said.
The whole gym roared as Wallin put on a show, hitting two 3-pointers along the way, Fredrickson said.
Wallin’s game helped the rest of the team come together in spite of a difficult season.
“The most important thing we got tonight was team unity,” Fredrickson said. “We needed to bond like that as a team.”
Thirteen different players scored Thursday as Glenville-Emmons put up 42 points in the second half. Garret Schumaker had 12, Derek Sanderson 11 and Michael Adams 10.
