The public is invited to join Zion Lutheran Church for a discussion about holy Communion — the Lord’s supper — the eucharist — the sacrament of the altar.

The Rev. Joel Vano will lead a five-week study on the theological and practical aspects of this sacrament celebrated by many Christian churches in our world today.  The topics will include Christ’s institution of the sacrament, its benefits, what it signifies and how it is celebrated. 

This discussion group will meet on Wednesdays, beginning Jan. 21, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 924 Bridge Ave. in Albert Lea.
