Arrest made

On Friday, Feb. 20, a 40-year-old ex-bookkeeper for North Star Power Sports and Marine, 2120 Consul St., was arrested by the Albert Lea Police Department as a result of an ongoing investigation into alleged thefts from the business.
Sheila Marie Guerra of Albert Lea was taken into custody by police officers on charges of felony theft and financial card fraud. It is alleged on the police report that she embezzled more than $160,000 from the business by charging a credit card from the business for services provided by Guerra. Guerra allegedly then moved this money to her debit card and eventually retrieved the money through ATM withdrawals and charges to her debit card.
Party results in arrests
Albert Lea police broke up a party at a residence in the 1700 block of Todd Avenue just after 11 p.m. Friday.
Three people were cited for illegal consumption. They are: Adam John Haeska, 19, Derreck Lee Walk, 18, and Shawn Allan Richards, 19. The police report gave no addresses for these three people.
The report added that Eric Robert Weiser, 22, no address listed, was cited and arrested on a social host charge.
