Minnesota has established March 29 of each year as a special day to honor Vietnam veterans. As part of the local recognition leading up to March 29, area veterans are planning to display a few photos, or even slides, from Freeborn County Vietnam era veterans who were assigned to military units throughout the world in any branch of service in support of operations during the Vietnam War.
