Jeff Baumann has accepted the position of senior insurance professional with Americana Insurance of Albert Lea. Baumann will be added to the team of producers of Americana Insurance as a crop insurance specialist and life and health specialist.

Tom Sorenson, agency director at Americana Insurance, said, “Jeff will be a great addition to our team at Americana Insurance. Jeff’s agriculture and business backgrounds, along with his expertise in business and customer service make him a perfect fit in our niche at Americana Insurance. Jeff grew up in the Freeborn County area and has been around agriculture for most of his life. He brings a unique perspective to crop insurance because of his life history in our area.”

Sorenson also added that Baumann is committed to continue maintaining the high level of professionalism that is the backbone of the company.

Baumann’s personal life is filled by attending his daughter’s sporting events and he occasionally gets to play golf and volleyball.
