Anytime Fitness would like to thank all those who helped out with the food drive: Home Town Broadcasting and the radio time they put in on Power 96 and KQAQ (Steph Hellekson), The Albert Lea Tribune and their efforts (Laura Lunde and Sarah Stultz), Salvation Army’s Capt. Jim Brickson and staff, Mark Harig and Dwaine Winkels for their mass e-mails and donations, Fire Chief Paul Stieler, Victoria Simonsen, John Kleuver, Ryan Nolander, Mike Murtaugh, KIMT-TV, KAAL TV, Northbridge Mall (Pam Folkens) along with the mall walkers who donated, The Chamber, (Randy, Tammy and Katie), U.S. Bank, Wells Federal and Home Federal, Maurice’s, Syverson Auto Mall employees and Gina Wadding, Addie’s Floral, Bridon Cordage, Mrs. Gerry’s, Frames-R-Us, Celebrations Party and Gifts, Freeborn Lumber, Commodity Marketing, Carpenter, along with the owners/representatives who came bearing donations and put in time on the machines as well.

We would also like to thank The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for the $500 food order. Thank you to ShopKo who supplied water to everyone along with Kwik Trip North who donated bananas to those who participated. A special shout out and thank you to Anytime Fitness members who really made this possible with their contributions of time, money, and food donations.

There were several members who did anywhere from an hour to two hours on an elliptical or treadmill and there were the members who came during the wee hours of the morning when no one else would want to be up to help make the Anytime Fitness/ Salvation Army Food Drive the success that it was. Thank you, Albert Lea, and all you do for your community.
