United Way of Freeborn County announces its annual Week of Thanks will take place the week of March 2-6.
Week of Thanks is a chance for representatives from United Way’s 19 partner agencies to visit several of the businesses which have contributed during the 2008 campaign.
Each agency chooses their own form of thanks, which can range from delivering goodies to a token of appreciation hand-crafted by children or others involved with the programs.
This is a way for agency members and community members to personally connect and recognize the importance of the programs that are offered throughout Freeborn County.
“Though the Week of Thanks lasts only one week, please know that with every action we take, all year long, we are so thankful to everyone in our community for their continued support of United Way,” said Executive Director Ann Austin.
