A slow month for city, county permits

During February, the Albert Lea Inspection Department issued nine building permits with a valuation of $199,725. This increases the total valuation of permits issued during the first two months of the year to $3,557,955.

At the end of February 2008 the city report showed a total valuation of $849,761 for permits issued.

A building permit with a valuation of $160,000 was issued in February for a kitchen addition for Kwik Trip, 902 W. Front St.

The Freeborn County Planning and Zoning Office issued two building permits in February with a listed valuation of $31,100. This increases the total valuation of county-issued permits to $72,090 for 2009.
