I would like to correct a misprint in the Animal Advocate newsletter. There are still monthly meetings the first Wednesday of each month. The next meeting will be April 1 at 206 W. Clark St., Albert Lea. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. and we would like to see you there.

The board members are working hard on getting the new shelter. There are some fundraisers coming up the month of March and beyond. Check out KCPI radio March 12, and there will be a pancake breakfast March 28 at Applebee’s. If you would like to donate to the building fund or for operating costs, send your donation to Humane Society of Freeborn County, P.O. Box 423, Albert Lea, MN 56007. Please designate “building fund” or “operating costs.”
