The sixth annual March Madness Preview Show is coming to the Freeborn County Fairgrounds Saturday.

Last year’s show boasted some 100 entries, and Paul Hansen of the Freeborn County Cattlemen’s Association said that many and even a few more are expected this year.

The show begins at noon in the indoor judging arena at the fairgrounds. It is expected to end about 4 p.m., Hansen said.

FFA members and 4-H’ers are expected from Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin to show their cattle. The contest is open to anyone 21 years or younger who raises cattle.

Admission for spectators to the event is free. Hansen said he hopes people will come and check it out.

“It’s a good chance to see the quality of livestock we raise in Freeborn County.”

Concessions will be available.
