Don’t bust on other people’s music tastes

Music is part of everyone’s life. It always has been, and it always will be. There has never been a time when music was unimportant. Everyone has their own tastes and everyone should be able to accept that.

I think that people need to open their views on genres. I know that I wouldn’t have heard half as much music as I would have if I hadn’t tried listening to new things.

Also, people need to respect other people’s music. I can’t stand seeing people saying that someone else’s favorite band is garbage. If they don’t like the band, fine, but they don’t need to go on an attack. I have been ridiculed many times by other people for the kind of music that I listen to. That is, screamo, post-hardcore and alternative genres.

Everyone needs to open their ears and listen to music that they normally wouldn’t be exposed to. If we can do that much, I would be a happy person.
