A fire destroyed a triple garage located on the alley behind the residence at 119 N. Second Ave. The fire was reported about 1 a.m. today. According to an Albert Lea Fire Department spokesman, the garage was detached from the residence, which sustained some scorching damage. However, he said the garage is a total loss. A motorcycle was reportedly lost in the blaze. The cause of this fire is unknown and is under investigation.
