Kids Against Hunger reflects well on A.L.

I would like to thank everyone who contributed to Kids Against Hunger. Whether it was giving money, working at the packing, or even just praying for the organization, the help was greatly appreciated.

Meagan Hickman is a good friend of mine, and I was on the “original” trip in Salt Lake, Utah, that started the idea to bring Kids Against Hunger to Albert Lea. I am proud of her and all the others that helped with planning it for being such an influence on this town and especially on the high school. I severely underestimated the students in our town. I never would have imagined them to give as much money as they did.

Eighty-one thousand meals is an incredible number. I am sure the Haitians greatly appreciate our work. I hope we can do more stuff like this in the future. God has surely been made famous by this event.
